Where to go out in Paris for Valentine’s Day without breaking the bank?

Paris is known worldwide for being the ultimate city of Love. For those of you lucky enough to be spending Valentine’s Day in Paris this year, Aloha has found a few of the best spots for you to spend a wonderful romantic moment without breaking the bank.

Romantic evening at the museum

Say I love you to your other half differently this year! For Valentine’s Day and for the third consecutive year, the Rodin museum welcomes romantics around a romantic journey with your partner in crime. Soft lighting, music, love poems with extracts from letters between Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin along with some surprises…

Love and activism

The Valentine’s Day race is a 5km duo race which will take place in Buttes-Chaumont this year. It is a supportive event above all which aims to raise public awareness of all forms of discrimination and in particular those linked to sexual orientation, in a spirit of tolerance and conviviality.

Hand in hand at the ice rink

Enjoy the winter and the open skating rinks in Paris to glide on the ice hand in hand with your other half. Then treat yourselves to a good hot chocolate in a cosy cafe afterwards and voila! For its first edition, you’ll be able to discover the winter ice rink in the Trocadéro gardens with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower or the covered ice rinks open all year round.

Stroll through the city of Love

What won’t cost you much and yet maintain the wow impact: a stroll through the romantic places of the capital. Take your sweetheart to the Medici Fountain in the Jardin du Luxembourg, to the Belvedere of the Buttes Chaumont, to the Mur des Je t’aime in Montmartre, a stone’s throw from the Sacré Coeur or even in one of the beautiful parks or gardens in the city where you can improvise a picnic with a bottle of wine and mini cakes.

Aloha wishes people in love a beautiful Valentine’s Day and offers all those who have not yet found their soul mate to discover these activities with family or friends because that’s Love too!
