THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PARISIAN GARDENS

Paris is full of parks and green gardens where it is pleasant to rest or have a picnic in the summer.

Here is a list of some Parisian gardens where it is good to walk.

The Parisian gardens on the right bank of Paris

The Champ de Mars gardens was opened in 1780 and extends between the Ecole Militaire and the Effel Tower. It is especially the place of great national manifestations.

Not far from here you can also walk in the gardens of Trocadero which give a magnificent view of the Effel Tower and which have in their center the famous fountain of Warsaw and its 20 water cannons ! They were opened in 1937. Some sculptures adorn some parts of the garden.

The Jardin d’Acclimatation brings together green spaces, an amusement park and activities for the whole family. It was created in 1860 in the Bois de Boulogne. Catering services are also available within the park for a break.

The tuileries gardens is located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde. It is a place for walk for Parisians and foreign visitors. There are statues of Giacometti, Rodin and Maillol. In South of the gardens, you will find the Orangery Museum.

The Jardin des Plantes near the Austerlitz train station is a good place for a stroll and where you will also find the natural history museum, the large botanical greenhouses as well as the menagerie and zoo plant garden.

The Jardin du Luxembourg is located near the Saint-Michel district in the 6th neigborhood. It has an area of 25 Hectares and is divided into two parts: a French garden and an English one. You will also find an apple orchard, an apiary and greenhouses. The garden also has 106 statues and the famous Medici fountain. Free exhibitions and concerts are held in the bandstand.

The gardens of the Bois de Vincennes in the 12th neigborhood is one of the largest gardens in Paris. You will discover the Floral Park, a lake where you can ride a boat and many activities for the whole family.

WHAT TO DO FOR THE NEW YEAR’S EVE IN PARIS?

New Year’s eve is approaching and you still do not know what to do? The capital is full of places to party on December 31st. Here are some good plans to spend the New Year’S Eve in Paris.

Celebrate the New Year’s Eve in unusual places

The Batofar offers for New Year’s Eve an evening aboard a boat with the record labels Livity Sound among others. The evening starts from 10 p.m (from 9.pm to enjoy a meal) and costs between 18 and 22 euros the entrance.

Enjoy a gospel concert on December 31st at the Saint-Roche Church from 8:30 pm to 10 pm. The price is between 27.50 and 33 euros.

The New Year Concert at the Madeleine offers from 8 :30 compositions by Mozart, Vivaldi performed by the Sacred Choir of Paris and the Chamber Orchestra among others. The price range is from 33 to 55 euros for an entry.

Spend the new year’s eve in front of a Flamenco show at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées at 8pm. The show will be performed by dancer and choreographer Sarah Baras surrounded by her troupe.

Why not spend your new year’s eve at the Aquarium of Paris surrounded by 60,000 liters of water and exotic fishes? The entrance fee is around 49 euros and the evening starts from 21H.

Celebrate the New Year’s Eve by attending a world music concert

For 37 euros spend the New Year’s eve at the Bellevilloise on a swing, tropical or cumbia sound. The concerts are spread over four spaces from 9pm.

Travel to Latin America then Africa on December 31 at the Chinese Hall in Montreuil. From 10.pm and before midnight you will enjoy an entry at 10 euros with a glass of champagne.

Spend an eve in the electro-swing club music La Java cabaret from 9pm. You will be able to enjoy this evening animated by the groups The New Sisters and Scratchophone Orchestra among others. The entrance fee is 22 euros.

3 WALKS TO DO AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NIGHT IN PARIS (PATHS)

1. Walking in Paris at dusk

The best restaurants in Paris to celebrate the Christmas Day
